Pakistan Rangers hand over Army deserter to BSF
Amritsar, Mar 17 (UNI) Pakistan Rangers today handed over an Indian Army jawan to Border Security Force (BSF) at the Wagah border after keeping him in their captivity for nearly three months.
Sashikant, who was serving in the Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, had absconded after firing at his Subedar and mistakenly entered the Pakistan territory on December 25 last, a BSF spokesman here said.
The Army officials today took him in custody for further investigations.
