Militants threw a hand grenade inside a house in north Kashmir

Baramulla, Mar 17 (UNI) Militants today made an abortive bid to kill a family at Sopore in this north Kashmir district when they hurled a hand grenade towards their house.

Official sources said militants today hurled a hand grenade towards the house of one Aijaz Ahmad Masoodi at Model Town Sopore.

However, the grenade did not explode after it fell a room.

The family members rushed out of the house and informed the police. Later bomb disposal Squad was summoned who defused the grenade, sources said.
