Major fire breaks out in Mumbai

Mumbai, Mar 16 (UNI) A major fire broke out at Jogeshwari in North West Mumbai tonight.

The fire broke out in the furniture market at 2215 hrs, police said.

Fire brigade sources said five fire engines and five water tankers were pressed into service to extenguish the flames. The fire fighting operations are still on.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, they added.
