Issar takes over as Secy Urban Employment

New Delhi, Mar 17 (UNI) Mr Ranjit Issar, a 1972 batch I.A.S. Officer, today assumed office as Secretary in the Ministry of Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation.

He belongs to the Haryana Cadre. He has earlier worked in the Ministry of Defence as Joint Secretary and was later promoted as Additional Secretary in the same Ministry.

Mr Issar succeeds Ms Chitra Chopra who took voluntary retirement.
