Inflation slips to 4.02 pc due to fall in food prices

New Delhi, Mar 17 (UNI) The annual rate of inflation fell to 4.02 per cent for the week ending March 4, 2006, as against 4.29 of the previous week, due to a fall in food prices.

The inflation rate, calculated on a point-to-point basis, was 5.46 percent during the same period last year, an official release said here today.
