Five-member inter-state gang arrested

Bokaro, Mar 16 (UNI) Five members of an inter-state gang of dacoits were arrested and a cache of arms and ammunition recovered during a raid conducted in different areas of the district today, police said.

Superintendent of Police Maninder Singh Bhatia told newspersons that they recovered Rs one lakh in cash and five firearms and 17 live cartridges.

The miscreants were involved in a number cases, including bank robberies in Jharkhand, Bihar and other neghbouring states, Mr Bhatia added.
