Fatah decides not to join Hamas govt-officials

JERUSALEM, Mar 17 (Reuters) Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction has decided not to join a government being formed by Hamas, Fatah officials said today.

The decision was made by Fatah's ruling Central Committee late yesterday, said the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because a formal announcement has yet to be made.
