Bhrigu Phukan admitted to AIIMS

New Delhi, Mar 17 (UNI) Senior AGP leader and former home minister of Asom Bhrigu Kumar Phukan was today admitted in the Intensive care unit of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Mr Phukan, who was flown in here from Guwahati this morning, following multiple organ failure, was put on life support system at AIIMS, hospital sources said.

The sources said Mr Phukan is suffering from liver infection, followed by lung complicacies.
