Bhoomi Adhikar Manch to hold two-day convention from March 19

Lucknow, Mar 17 (UNI) The Bhoomi Adhikar Manch (BAM) -- a organisation for women, small and marginal farmers and landless people of Uttar Pradesh, will hold a two-day convention here from March 19 on ''Women land rights and livelihood security.'' Delegates from 15 districts will deliberate on the present status of women land rights and also chalk out future strategy on the issue, a press statement said here today.

The BAM mostly focusses on the most poverty prone and vulnerable 18 districts of the state with an with the aim of ensuring sustainable livelihood security.
