BCCI pitch inspector satisfied with Keenan pitch

Jamshedpur, Mar 17 (UNI) Representative of Ground and Pitch committee (Eastern region) of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Prabir Mukherjee today expressed satisfaction on the pitch of Keenan stadium, the venue of sixth ODI between India and England on April 12.

Inspecting the strip along with assistant secretary of Jhakrhand Cricket Association (JSCA) Rajesh Verma, Mr Mukherjee said ''The pitch is ideal for one day match and it would as usual be batsman's paradise.'' He said the pitch has been made like the one against Pakistan last year. But Pakistan won the match as they utilised the conditions of the pitch in a better manner.

Mr Mukherjee suggested the curator to roll the pitch and apply water regularly.
