Hyderabad, Mar 17 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Assembly today witnessed uproarious scenes during the inconclusive debate on the Sripadasagar Project with Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu submitting a sealed cover to Panel Speaker K Vedavyas containing 'documentary evidences' in support of alleged Rs 400 crore fraud in award of contract.

The TDP Legislature Party leader then challenged the state Government to produce all files relating to the project before the Speaker for a comparison of the documents provided by his party.

If the Government failed to respond positively, the Speaker should on his own, call for all documents concerning the project, Mr Naidu said even as the ruling party members shouted that the papers submitted by the TDP were 'fake'.

Bedlam prevailed, in the House when the former chief minister alleged ''state going bankrupt was certain with the Government revising the cost of major irrigation projects from Rs 46,000 crore to Rs 66,000 crore''.

Objecting to his charge, several Congress members staged a noisy protest.
