AI's Amritsar-Toronto flight now six days a week

Amritsar, Mar 17 (UNI) Air India (AI) today inreased its Amrtsar-Toronto flight frequency to six in a week, adding Birmingham on the route.

Air India Chairman-cum-Managing Director V Thulasidass said that this has been done to meet the demand ofthe heavy passenger rush from Punjab to the West.

The CMD said Air India would soon add 68 new aircraft to its existing fleet of 43. This would enable AI to become one of the leading world class air carriers.
