8 Delhi officials promoted to IAS

New Delhi, Mar 17 (UNI) Eight Delhi civil services officials have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Services (IAS).

Mr A B Shukla (DC Central Delhi), Mr A K Singh (currently in Daman), Mr A Srivastava (currently in Andaman), Mr K S Singh (currently in Andaman), Mr G G Saxena (currently in Andaman), Mr T M Balakrishnan (DC South Delhi), Mr G C Joshi (currently in Andaman) and Mr C P Tripathi (Additional Commissioner Sales Tax), belonging to the Union Territory cadre were promoted to the IAS with immediate effect, official sources said.

The union Ministry of Personnel issued a notification stating this today.

Their seniority would be determined later.
