300 workers ill after consuming food

Medak, Mar 17 (UNI) About 300 workers of a noted tyre manufacturing firm near Sadasivapet in Medak, took ill after consuming food in their company canteen today.

Among them, the condition of 30 was stated to be serious.

Disturbed over the incident, some workers gained into the administration building of the firm and gheraoed the personal officer and damaged furniture, according to police.

The firm has made arrangements to shift the sick employees to ESI hospitals located in Sadasivpet, Sangareddy and Sanatnagar in Hyderabad.
