Viplove Thakur files nomination papers from HP

Shimla, Mar 16 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Congress Committe (HPCC) President Viplove Thakur today filed her nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha seat after the party nominated her for the seat from the state late last night.

Ms Viplove filed her nomination papers here today in presence of large number of party leaders and activists.

The term of the present incumbent, Kripal Parmar, expires on April two.

The election would be held on March 20 from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs in the Vidhan Sabha complex.
