UDF, LDF pursuing minority politics: BJP

Kottayam, Mar 16 (UNI) BJP Kerala unit president P S Sreedharan Pillai today alleged that the UDF and the LDF were pursuing minority appeasement policy in the state.

Referring to the move to ''humiliate'' CPI(M) politburo member V S Achuthanandan by not allowing him to contest the Assembly poll, he alleged at a news conference that eventhough the issue was an internal matter of the CPI (M), such a step was for the sake of minority interest. Describing him as anti-development would not be tolerated by the people.

The present political climate was favourable for the BJP in the state, the BJP Chief claimed.
