Trading bandh in terminal markets at Vashi due to labours strike

Mumbai, Mar 16 (UNI) Trading in wholesale sugar market was today opened as usual, but suddenly no loading and unloading was done at the terminal markets in Vashi complex due to Mathadi workers strike.

They demanded to revise daily wages, leaves, mediclaims, insurance and others, a spokesperson of Navi Mumbai Mathadi Workers union said.

Traders said the union demand would be shortout shortly and normal business would resume very soon.
