Three run over by trains in different mishaps

Phagwara, Mar 16 (UNI) Three people, including a woman, were run over by three different trains in separate rail mishaps around Phillaur during past 24 hours.

According to reports received here today, an old woman Kartar Kaur (85) was run over by a train when she was crossing the railway lines near Bhattian between Goraya and Phillaur. Another middle aged man Ali was killed when he came under a train near Phillaur, while an unidentified person was crushed by another train near Ladhowal railway station.

The railway police had sent the bodies of all the deceased to civil hospital, Phillaur, for post morterm examination.
