TDP nominates Mysoora for Rajya Sabha seat

Hyderabad, Mar 16 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh today announced the candidature of Dr M V Mysoora Reddy for the bienniel elections to the Rajya Sabha from the state assembly.

Six seats would fall vacant from the state of which the TDP has the strength to win only one.

The seat was allotted to Mysoora Reddy who lost the Lok Sabha elections from Kadapa to Y S Vivekananda Reddy (Congress), brother of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
