Staff Association calls nationwide strike in SBI on March 28
Kolkata, Mar 16 (UNI) Protesting against the Bank management's recruitment policy and to press for four other demands, the State Bank of India Staff Association has called a nationwide one-day strike in SBI on March 28.
Announcing the Association's decision to call the strike its All India General Secretary Ashok Dutta in a statement here today also announced their decision to organise a dharna in every state tomorrow as part of their ongoing agitational programme.
Among others bankmen's demand are adequate compensation for overtime work, review of clean note policy of the bank management and immediate halt on outsourcing of jobs.
SBI has a network of more than 3500 branches across the country.
