SI suffers massive heart attack, dies

Chennai, Mar 16 (UNI) A Special Branch-CID Sub-Inspector of Police (SI) attached to the Chengalpattu Detachment, died here this morning following a massive heart attack.

Mr Sundaresan (45) who reported for duty around 0830 hrs this morning complained of giddiness and vommitting, police sources here told UNI.

After a while, he complained of chest pain before he swooned and collapsed.

He was taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Mr Sundaresan is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
