Property worth lakh of rupees lost in fire

Patna, Mar 16 (UNI) Property worth lakhs of rupees was destroyed today when fire engulfed a shoe shop near Patna railway station.

Fire officer Bhaskar Prasad Sinha said two fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flame.

Mr Sinha said short circuit was the cause of fire.
