Pilgrims returning from Tirumala have miraculous escape

Tirumala, Mar 16: Forty-two pilgrims on an APSRTC bus had a miraculous escape after the vehicle hit a parapet wall at a hairpin curve on the Tirumala Ghat Road here last evening.

The mishap occurred when the bus was returing to Bangalore from Tirumala, police said here today.

The bus driver, M K Murthy, was arrested.
