Pak former PM Nawaz Sharif to visit US on April 7

Islamabad, Mar 16: Pakistan former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) patron Mian Nawaz Sharif will visit the United States early next month.

Sharif will reach New York on April 7 to attend wedding ceremony of his close associate Captain Khalid Shahin Butt's daughter, a report in the Pakistan Times said.

Butt is a prominent Pakistani-American and president of ex-Pakistani servicemen's association in the United States.

The wedding is scheduled for April 8. harif's ailing son will also undergo a medical check-up while in the US.

Last week Muslim League (US chapter) in a meeting finalised the arrangements for Sharif's visit, the sources added.
