Model Sanjana out of coma; provided 24-hour security

Mumbai, Mar 16 (UNI) Model-cum-actress Sanjana Shrivastava, who was in coma at a hospital here after being found injured with a bullet injury on her head on March 11, has regained her consciousness after surgery last night.

Police have provided her round-the-clock security, hospital sources said today.

Police are probing whether Sanjana was attacked or whether she had attempted suicide.

Ms Sanjana had been admitted to the Arogya Nidhi Hospital in Juhu after being found in an unconscious state at Joggers' Park in Lokhandwala.

Hospital sources said that she has regained consciousness and was well. Her parents have also joined her. She is likely to be discharged in the next few days.
