Land scam: CM orders tehsildar's suspension

Bhopal, Mar 16 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today ordered the suspension of the Tehsildar of Budhni tahsil in Sehore district for illegally allotting a tribal's land to a Bhopal resident.

Mr Chouhan ordered the suspension of Yashwant Singh Abasa on the tribal's complaint that the land in his possession at village Bori since 1982 was allotted to somebody else.

The Chief Minister, who heard the grievances of villagers today during a visit to Manjharkui village in Sehore district for spot inspection of crop damage due to hail and unseasonal rains, also directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate to conduct a detailed inquiry into the land allotment case.
