Lalu Yadav mocks Advani's Rath Yatra
Hardwar, Mar,16 (UNI) Minister for Railways Lalu Prasad today said the proposed Rath Yatra by BJP Leader L K Advani was only a desperate attempt to revive the Hindu card.
''Advani and his party once came to power by dividing society on communal lines. They want to repeat the same experience. These people have nothing to do with Hindu culture nor are they interested in fighting against terrorism. Their only aim is to create hatred and flare tension between different communities to derive political mileage,'' Mr Prasad told mediapersons here.
There was no need to take steps to stop the yatra as it was bound to be a failure, he added.
In spite of the problems created by the Left parties, the central government would last its full term of five years, the minister noted.
''Some times we also create problems, but it has nothing to do with the stability of the government,'' he added.
The railway track passing through the Rajaji National Park between Hardwar and Dehradun would be fenced on both sides to save elephants from being run over by the speeding trains, he said.
