K'taka lorry owners threaten indefinite rasta roko
Hubli, Mar 16 (UNI) The Karnataka Lorry Owners Association today threatened to resort to an indefinite road blockade at Koppal from March 20 if the restriction on the movement of mining lorries was not withdrawn or relaxed by then.
Addressing a press conference here, Association President G R Shanmugappa said lorries being permitted to move through Koppal only between 2300 hrs and 0500 hrs the next day was creating a lot of trouble as the lorries had to be stopped for over 18 hours.
