Kiran wants SPV to improve Bangalore's infrastructure

Bangalore, Mar 16 (UNI) Pharma major Biocon Chairperson and Managing Director Kiran Mazumdar-Shah today urged the Karnataka Goverment to float a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to take up development of infrastructure facilities in the city in a time bound manner.

Talking to reporters after meeting Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy here, she opined that infrastructural works could be completed in a fast pace only if such a SPV was set up.

She made it clear to the chief minister that she was not against his Government, but had only expressed the opinion of IT and BT firms on the crumbling infrastructure of the city.
