Mumbai, Mar 16 (UNI) Indo-Tech Transformers made a grand debut on the stock markets today, gaining 83.92 per cent closing at Rs 239.10 as against the issue price of Rs 130 for a Rs 10 share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The scrip touched a high of Rs 248 after the listing at Rs 135 per share on the NSE as against the issue price of Rs 130 for Rs 10 per share.

The counters saw huge volume with over 1.64 crore shares traded on the NSE.

Pratibha Industries, another company to be listed today, also had a good day closing with a gain of 51.08 per cent.

It opened at Rs 150 on the NSE as against the issue price of Rs 120 for Rs 10 share and closed at Rs 181.30 with a gain of 51.08 per cent.

The scrip touched a high of Rs 189.90 in the intra-day trading whereas the intra-day low was 141.

In total over 1.20 crore shares were traded on the NSE.
