iGate opens its gates for 100 plus IT pros in TN

Chennai, Mar 16 (UNI) iGate Global Solutions intends to go for campus recruitment for appointing over 100 information technology (IT) professionals from Dindigul for its software development facility here.

In a release today, iGate IT Solutions Assistant Vice President V Viswanathan said being home to a large number of technical institutions, Tamil Nadu had an adequate supply base for high quality techncal resources. From operating costs perspective too, the city compared favourably with other metros.

With a global headcount of over 4,800, iGate was scaling up its operations here to cater to new customers and additional business.

It has a one lakh sq ft IT and BPO facility in the city employing over 600 professionals.

iGate opened a new 35,000 sq ft development centre here last year and had invested Rs 60 crore so far in its Chennai development facility, it added.
