Mumbai, Mar 16 (UNI) The injury-hit England cricket team suffered yet another blow with their main pace bowler Steve Harmison's chances of playing in the third and final Test against India beginning here from March 18 in doubt.

The lanky pace bowler is suffering from a sore shin on his right leg and has undergone an x-ray and scan on it, the results of which will be known only by tomorrow afternoon, England captain Andrew Flintoff said today.

Harmison picked up the injury during the second Test at Mohali where he could bowl only four overs in the second innings.

However, Flintoff is confident that the injury is not that serious and Harmison would be available for selection on March 18 for the third and final Test which England need to win to square the series.

England have already been hit hard by injuries on this tour with their captain Michael Vaughan, pace bowler Simon Jones and spinner Ashley Giles already pulling out due to injuries, while vice-captain Marcus Trescothick had to return home due to ''personal reasons'' which were not disclosed.

Now if a senior member like Harmison has also to pull out due to injury, it will be a massive body blow for the side looking to level the series.
