Gill flags off Bharat Dharshan

Jammu Mar 16 (UNI) Additional Director General of Police P S Gill today flagged off a batch of 63 students from Jammu and Kashmir for All India Tour (Bharat Darshan) organised by the state police.

The students, hailing from far-flung and backward areas of the state, will be on a fortnight tour to various places including, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri, Chandigarh and other historical places.

Mr Gill said, J and K police is striving hard to ameliorate the lot of the downtrodden and initiate various programmes under civic action plans so that maximum facilities could be provided to expose the youngsters to a progressive and competitive world so that they face the challenges with confidence and vigor.
