Eight-day Meghalaya budget session to start tomorrow
Shillong, Mar 16 (UNI) The eight-day budget session in Meghalaya will begin tomorrow.
According to calendar dates for the session, six days have been alloted for government business, while the rest are meant for private members' business.
Government business would include laying of ordinances, notifications and voting on supplementary demands.
The presentation of budget estimates for the next financial year has been slated for March 24.
Members will have an opportunity to debate on the Governor's address for three days.
The Chief Minister will reply to the debate on March 27.
