Delhi girls, Gujarat boys move into finals

Vijayawada, Mar 16 (UNI) Delhi girls and Gujarat boys won their semifinal matches and entered the last two of the ICC-AITA doubles tournament for U-14 boys and girls played here.

In the semifinal matches in girl's section, Rishika Sunkara and Sweta Rana of Delhi trounced Duni Priya and Neha Purohit of Andhra Pradesh 6-1 6-3. In another match, Arushi Sharma (Delhi) and Nova Patel (Gujarat) pipped Sivani Singh (AP) and Aishwarya Agarwal (MP) 6-1 6-4 last night.

In the boy's section Samip Mehta and Vaidik Munshaw of Gujarat defeated S V Abhishek (AP) and Navneet Kumar (UP) 6-4 6-3 while S Sidharth (TN) and N Sai Karthik (AP) beat Amit Chauhan (Chandigarh) and Digvijay Singh (MP) 6-4 7-5.
