Debt ridden farmer commits suicide in Nanded

Nanded, Maharashtra, Mar 16 (UNI) A debt-ridden farmer allegedly committed suicide yesterday at Rupla-Tanda in Dharmabad tehsil of the district by consuming poison, police said.

The farmer identified as Fakira Babu Rathod (70) was reportedly under a debt burden of Rs 1.5 lakh he had taken from a bank, Mahur Police said.
