Deaf sportspersons to play cricket, TT in Pakista
New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) An Indian contingent of deaf sportspersons will travel to Pakistan to play cricket, badminton and table tennis matches from March 20-April 6.
According to an All India Sports Council of the Deaf release here today, the cricket team will play six one day matches at various venues while the shuttlers will play in Lahore, as will be the paddlers.
A cultural troupe will accompany the contingent and after the final cricket match in Rawalpindi on April 4, they will perform in the presence of Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf, the release said.
