Dalmiya chrages BCCI on fake allegation against him

Kolkata, Mar 16 (UNI) Former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya today dismissed the FIR lodged by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on the ground of ''fake allegations.'' ''I have not seen the papers and therefore, cannot comment in detail, but from time to time, all details as asked for by the present BCCI management have been furnished by me. Although there is no truth in their allegations, it seems that the present BCCI management has a single point agenda to malign me,'' Mr Dalmiya said in a statement tonight.

'' Their pre-determined malicious intent is very clear. First, they asked me to handover the papers, which I did. Thereafter, they raised certain queries, which were required to be answered by me within seven days. Even before the deadline, they issued a show cause notice despite that I have answered all the queries and yet, now these false criminal charges'', he said.

''It is all the more surprising that such action has been taken by BCCI even when the matter is sub-judice in the Honourable Court'', he added.
