Couple among three killed, hideout busted in J

Srinagar, Mar 16 (UNI) A couple was among three people killed while security forces busted a hideout in the Jammu and Kashmir overnight, an official spokesman said today.

He said militants entered the house of one Abdul Gani Malik at Shaja Cahrala under police station Thathri and fired upon inmates with automatic weapons.

Mr Malik and his wife Shamima Begum died on the spot, he said.

Spokesman said body of one Liaqat Hussain was recovered from Kadder village in Kulgam.

Security forces busted a hideout 240 rounds of ammunition, eight magzines and seen hand grenades at Thanamandi last night. However, no one was arrested.
