AP CM lays foundation stone for Elevated Expressway Corridor'
Hyderabad, Mar 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today laid the foundation stone for Elevated Expressway Corridor' in the city.
The Hyderabad Urban development Authority (HUDA) has been entrusted with the task of providing world-class connectivity between the upcoming International Airport at Shamshabad and the city. The expressway flyover would ensure safer, faster and smoother traffic flow once the airport becomes operational.
The project is to be implemented on BOT basis and is scheduled to be completed in two years. The elevated corridor length is about 11.34 km starting from Mehdipatnam Rythu Bazar to Aramgarh junction on National Highway (NH 7, Bangalore Highway).
