Yazdani buried in Hyderabad amid tight security
Hyderabad, Mar 15 (UNI) The Mortal remains of alleged Lashkar terrorist Ghulam Yazdani, who was killed in an encounter in New Delhi last week, were brought to the city and buried at Hayatnagar graveyard on the city outskirts today.
The body of Yazdani, which was identified by his father Ghulam Mustafa and his brother Ghulam Ahmed in New Delhi, was brought to the city, amid tight security, for the last rites.
In the wake of High Court order on Friday that the city police and Delhi police ensure the body reaches Hyderabad and is buried in the Hyerabad and is buried in the Hayatnagar graveyard, the Cyberabad police had taken all measures for smooth conduct of the last rites.
However, BJP leaders and its allied organisations, protested the burial of Yezdani's body at Hayatnagar, alleging that 'he was anti-national and hence he could not be buried in their land'.
