Woman charred to death; husband sustains burns

Dharwad, Karnataka, Mar 15 (UNI) A 26-year-old woman was charred to death and her husband sustained burns in a fire mishap here last night.

Police said today that a kerosene lamp fell down accidentally when the couple was asleep in their home, causing the blaze. The seriously injured woman succumbed to burns at the hospital, while her husband was out of danger and recovering.
