TDP says some MPs holding office of profit
New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI) The Telegu Desam Parliamentary Party today charged that a large number of Members of Parliament were currently holding offices of profit by virtue of being Chairpersons of various bodies.
In a letter to President A P J Kalam, the TDP said this disqualifies them from being MPs.
It cited the relevant provisions of the Constitution in this regard and mentioned some prominent names and the offices they were holding, which call for their disqualification.
