Spain to play Egypt in World Cup warm-up

MADRID, Mar 15 (Reuters) Spain will play a friendly against Egypt on June 3 as part of their preparations for this year's World Cup finals, the Spanish Football Federation said today.

Egypt won the African Nations Cup last month but failed to qualify for the World Cup finals in Germany.

Luis Aragones's side will play a warm-up game against Russia on May 27 in Albacete, before playing Egypt in Elche.

The Federation is hoping to arrange one more friendly before the tournament begins on June 9.

Spain are in Group H with Ukraine, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia.
