Seven nominations filed so far for Asom Assembly polls

Guwahati, Mar 15 (UNI) Seven candidates have filed their nominations so far in various constituencies for the coming Assembly elections.

Out of this, six nominations were filed today.

The candidates, who filed their papers, were Mr Bimalangshu Roy (BJP) in Silchar, Ms Hema Prabha Saikia (Congress) in Nazira, Mr Jiten Gogoi (IND) in Bokakhat, Mr Prabin Gogoi (AGP) in Khumtai besides one Independent candidate in Guwahati (East) and one CPI(M) candidate in Naharkatia.

Earlier, one Independent candidate had filed his nomination in Doomdooma constituency.
