Red Cross official freed in Gaza - witnesses

GAZA, Mar 24 (Reuters) Palestinian gunmen released today a Swiss employee of the International Committee of the Red Cross who they abducted in Gaza in response to an Israeli raid on a West Bank prison, witnesses said.

The Swiss national, identified earlier by the ICRC as Julien Grosclaude, was released near a police station in Khan Younis in the central Gaza Strip, the witnesses said.
