Pulwana Utilises 83 per cent of allocated funds
Jammu Mar 15 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Government has expressed its dissatisfaction over the performance of Pulwama District Development Board, as it could spend only 83 per cent of allocated funds in 11 month current financial year.
According to sources, the board spent Rs 52.76 crores against Rs 63.77 crore allocated under state plans for various works including agriculture, horticulture, irrigation, animal husbandry, social forestry and sheep husbandry.
Sources said the expenditure includes Rs 33.97 crore under revenue and Rs 18.80 crore under capital head till February 2006.
Under agriculture and allied sectors against the availability of Rs 11.45 crore, an expenditure of Rs 9.22 crore were recorded.
