Probe into letter threatening blowing up Moradabad station
Moradabad, Mar 15 (UNI) A probe has been initiated after a the letter threatening to blow up the Moradabad railway station, if a demand for Rs 10 crore was not fulfilled, was received.
Police said here today that a letter addressed to the station superintendent of the railway station, received two days ago, threatened blowing the station on the lines of the March seven Varanasi blast, if a demand for Rs 10 crore was not met.
Investigations have been started into the typed letter purportedly written by Hizbul outfit, police added.
Similar threatening letters have also been sent to Lucknow, Mathura, Aligarh and Muzaffarnagar railway stations in the recent past, police said.
