NC stages walkout from Aseembly

Jammu, Mar 15 (UNI) The main opposition party in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, the National Conference (NC) today staged a walkout from the house over the absence of ministers from the treasury benches.

As the question hours began an NC MLA drew the speaker's attention to the absence of ministers, alleging the government of non seriousness over conducting the business of the house as only one minister, Public Health Engineering, Irrigation and Flood Control, Qazi Afzal was present in the house.

The NC MLA demanded the presence of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in the house.
