Nagaland Budget session tomorrow

Kohima, Mar 15 (UNI) The week-long Budget session of Nagaland Legislative Assembly will begin here tomorrow with the address of Governor Shyamal Datta.

According to business schedules of the session, after the address of the Governor there will be obituary reference and moving of the motion of thanks to the Governor's address. The session will continue till March 23, with a holiday on March 19 for Sunday and March 22 as recess.

Among the other business of the session, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who is also holding the finance portfolio, will present the budget for the year 2006-2007 on March 20.

The other businesses included introduction of government bills, government resolutions, debate on the motion of thanks on Governor's address, passing of the Nagaland Appropriation (no-1) Bill, 2006, general discussions on budget, laying of reports by various assembly committees and discussion on the dupplementary demands for grants 2005-2006.

The House will be adjourned sine die on March 23 next, assembly secretariat sources said.
